Antique American Ash
Centuries ago, this wood was originally harvested from dark old growth forest where it slowly grew to produce a fine dense structure. The tight fine grain truly sets this apart from newly sawn Ash. Used for 80 - 250 years for beams or sidings, this wood shows some, but never too abundant presence of worm-, and nailholes, a few smaller knots and cracks.
